Brandon Odums, also known as B-Mike, is a celebrated American artist and filmmaker known for his large-scale murals and installations highlighting the socio-political struggles of Black people in America. His most famous work, the “Project Be” murals, can be found in the Florida Housing projects of New Orleans. Odums has participated in various projects, such as the “Ephemeral Beings” exhibition, “Inside Out Project,” and “Studio Be” in New Orleans. In 2014, he received the Joan Mitchell Foundation grant for Painters and Sculptors. Recognized as one of the 20 New Orleans Artists You Should Know by Complex Magazine, Odums has also been featured on MTV, VH1, and BET. Additionally, he is the founder and director of 2-Cent Entertainment LLC.
