Camilo Sesto was a renowned Spanish singer, songwriter, and producer who rose to fame as a Latin pop star in the 1970s. He captivated audiences with his romantic ballads and catchy pop tunes, making him a prominent figure in the Latin music scene. Some of his most well-known songs include “Algo de Mi,” “Perdóname,” “Vivir Asà es Morir de Amor,” “Amor MÃo, ¿Qué Me Has Hecho?,” “El amor de mi vida,” and “Con el Viento a Tu Favor.” Throughout his career, Sesto participated in numerous successful concerts and tours, earning various awards and accolades for his contributions to the music industry. He also composed the music for “Querida Gina,” the 1976 Spanish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest. Sesto passed away in 2019 at the age of 72.
