Christopher Reeve was chiefly remembered with his BAFTA-awarded iconic performance of Clark Kent in ‘Superman’ (1978). He also appeared in other critically acclaimed films including ‘The Bostonian’ (1984), ‘Street Smart’ (1987), and ‘Rear Window’ (1998).
After being left quadriplegic from a horse equestrian accident, he founded the Christopher Reeve Foundation which helps people who suffered from spinal column injuries and for human embryonic stem cell research
