Coolio, an American rapper, actor, and chef, was a renowned figure in the US west coast hip-hop scene. He rose to fame with his 1995 chart-topping hit “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which became one of the most successful rap songs in history. Other notable works by Coolio include singles “1, 2, 3, 4 (Sumpin’ New)” and “Fantastic Voyage.” He also made appearances on TV shows like Celebrity Big Brother and Wife Swap and acted in films such as Batman & Robin and Bulworth. Additionally, Coolio authored a cookbook called “Cookin’ with Coolio: 5 Star Meals at a 1 Star Price.” Tragically, he passed away suddenly in September 2022 at the age of 59.
