Renowned American novelist Cormac McCarthy passed away on June 13th, 2023, at the age of 89. He was widely acclaimed for his thought-provoking, intense, and emotionally powerful novels. Among his most notable works are “Blood Meridian,” “The Road,” and “No Country for Old Men.” A recipient of the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, McCarthy was considered one of the greatest novelists in the United States.
