Daphne Duplaix, an American actress, model, and television personality, is known for her role as Valerie Davis on the NBC soap opera “Passions.” She has also been featured in films such as “The Last Supper” and “The Fighting Temptations,” as well as TV shows like “CSI: Miami” and “One Life to Live.” Born in Manhattan, New York, Duplaix has a diverse heritage, with a Haitian father and a Puerto Rican mother. In addition to her acting career, she has modeled and was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in July 1997. Duplaix also worked as a weather anchor for KABC-TV in Los Angeles.
