Daria Nicolodi was a renowned Italian actress, screenwriter, and director who gained fame for her role in Dario Argento’s horror film “Deep Red.” She collaborated with Argento on several other films, including “Inferno” and “Tenebrae,” and co-wrote the screenplay for “Suspiria.” In 1978, Nicolodi received the Best Actress award at the Sitges Film Festival for her performance in “Shock.” She was particularly known for her work with Argento in the Italian Giallo film genre. Sadly, Nicolodi passed away in November 2020.
