David Villa Sánchez, a renowned Spanish former professional footballer, is considered one of the top strikers of his generation and among the greatest Spanish players in history. He currently serves as the Technical Advisor and Head of Global Football Operations for the Indian Super League. Villa is best known for his outstanding performances with Valencia, Barcelona, and the Spanish national team, playing a crucial role in Spain’s victory at the 2010 World Cup.
Some of Villa’s other notable accomplishments include winning multiple La Liga titles and Champions League honors, as well as receiving individual awards such as the UEFA Euro Golden Boot, FIFA World Cup Bronze Boot, and UEFA Champions League Forward of the Year. He established the DV7 Foundation to support the development and create opportunities for underprivileged youth. Villa has also authored a cookbook titled “Cocina Asturiana” (Asturian Cuisine) and opened a restaurant in Gijón called “El Gallinero de Sandra,” which serves traditional Asturian dishes.
