As a co-founder of the Piven Theatre Workshop and a member of the Organic Theater Company, he played a crucial role in the development of local theater. Cusack appeared in various films and TV shows, such as “The Fugitive,” “High Fidelity,” and “Bernie,” often portraying authority figures. Additionally, he established the Evanston Children’s Theater and held the position of executive director. Sadly, Cusack passed away in 2003.
