Douglas Dick was an American actor recognized for his work in film, television, and Broadway. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Kenneth Lawrence in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic film Rope (1948). Other significant film appearances include The Red Badge of Courage (1951) and Something to Live For (1952). On the small screen, he was known for playing Carl Herrick in the TV series Waterfront (1954-1955). Besides acting, Douglas Dick also produced the film The Clown. He passed away in 2015.
