Dwight Schultz, an American actor and voice artist, is best known for portraying Captain H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock in the 1983 TV series “The A-Team” and Reginald Barclay in the “Star Trek” franchise. He has also made appearances in various films and television shows, such as “The Fan,” “Fat Man and Little Boy,” and “Boston Legal.” Schultz has been nominated for two Emmy Awards for his voice work in “Cow and Chicken” and “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.” Besides his acting career, he is a licensed therapist with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, obtained in 1991. Schultz has faced several controversies, including a disagreement with Julia Roberts over her criticism of the Republican Party. Interestingly, he nearly lost his job on ‘The A-Team’ due to his personality.
