Born on August 19, 1920, in New York City, Blake hailed from a privileged background as the son of wealthy industrialist Henry Blake and socialite Evelyn Morgan Blake. He showcased his comedic talent from an early age, entertaining his family and friends with witty observations. His education took him to prestigious institutions like Phillips Exeter Academy and Harvard University, where he excelled academically and gained recognition for his comedic abilities.
Blake’s career flourished as a stand-up comedian, captivating audiences with his sharp wit, political satire, and fearless commentary on social issues.
