Emile William Ivanhoe Heskey, born on 11 January 1978, is a former English professional footballer who now serves as the head of football development for Leicester City Women. As a striker, Heskey had an 18-year career, making over 500 appearances in the Football League and Premier League and representing England in international football. He is best known for his time at Leicester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa, as well as his contributions to the England national team. Heskey won two League Cups with Leicester, two FA Cups, and a UEFA Cup with Liverpool, and helped England reach the quarter-finals in three major international tournaments. He was also named Leicester City’s Player of the Year twice and received the FIFA Fair Play Award in 2001.
