Eriko Tamura is a renowned Japanese actress, singer, and songwriter. She made her acting debut at the age of 14 in the Asian feature film “Flowerly Afternoon” and gained popularity as a series regular on the TV show “Go with the Wild.” Other notable works include “Discovery,” “Ballad,” “Twin Best Eriko Tamura,” and “Golden Best Eriko Tamura.”
Tamura’s breakthrough role came in the 1996 film “Swallowtail Butterfly,” for which she won the Japanese Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has since starred in numerous films and television dramas, including “Tokyo Tower,” “The Great Passage,” and “The Last Recipe.”
In addition to her acting career, Tamura has released several albums and performed in stage productions such as “Hamlet” and “The Seagull.” She is also a talented pianist, guitarist, drummer, and dancer.
