Fernando Colunga Olivares, a renowned Mexican actor, is widely recognized for his roles in various telenovelas. He rose to international prominence for his portrayal of Luis Fernando de la Vega in the popular soap opera “Maria la del Barrio.” Colunga obtained his drama training at the Centro de Educación ArtÃstica de Televisa (CEA) and has since appeared in numerous telenovelas, including “Esmeralda,” “La Usurpadora,” and “Abrazame Muy Fuerte.” In addition to his television work, he has also acted in films and received three Best Leading Actor awards at TVyNovelas for his performance in “Pasión y Poder.” In 2022, Colunga inked a deal with Telemundo to appear in several original productions.
