Freddy Crabs, an Australian conservationist, underwater filmmaker, and pianist, rose to fame as part of the indie rock band Sticky Fingers. Their albums, “Caress Your Soul” and “Land of Pleasure,” both reached the top 40 on the Australian Albums Chart. Crabs is also recognized for his marine conservation and diving efforts, with notable works such as “Sharks Glide Through Forests of Coral” and “Blue Water, White Death.” He has participated in sea turtle conservation and the establishment of marine protected areas in Australia. A skilled boat builder, Crabs constructed his own customized vessel, “Craberella,” for underwater photography and conservation projects.
