George Coulouris (1903-1989) was a renowned English film and stage actor, most recognized for his role as Walter Parks Thatcher, Charles Foster Kane’s associate, in the iconic film “Citizen Kane”. He also appeared in other notable works such as “Watch on the Rhine”, “Between Two Worlds”, and the television series “The Buccaneers”. As an accomplished stage actor, Coulouris received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in “Big Fish, Little Fish” and was honored with the Commander of the British Empire (CBE) for his contributions to the arts.
