Georgia Engel was an American actress renowned for her portrayal of Georgette Franklin Baxter in the sitcom “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.” She also appeared in the TV series “Everybody Loves Raymond” and the theater production of “The Drowsy Chaperone.” Throughout her career, Engel received five Emmy nominations. She had a recurring role as Shirley Burleigh on Coach and provided the voice for Love-a-Lot Bear in The Care Bears Movie (1985). In 2007, she played the good witch Esmeralda in a recurring role on the now-defunct NBC soap opera Passions. Additionally, Engel appeared in “Grown Ups 2,” “Hot in Cleveland,” and “The Office.”
