Glenn Danzig, an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer, is best known as the founder and lead vocalist of the horror punk band Misfits. His journey from a horror punk vocalist in Misfits to a hard rock and metal icon demonstrates his dedication and passion for his musical vision. Apart from Misfits, Danzig has also fronted other bands such as Samhain and Danzig, releasing numerous albums including the well-known self-titled debut album, Danzig. He has collaborated with various artists and contributed songs to film soundtracks. A comic book enthusiast, Danzig has written and contributed to several comic book series. In 2023, Rolling Stone recognized his talent by ranking him at number 199 on its list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time.
