Hank Aaron, a legendary American Major League Baseball player, is considered one of the sport’s greatest hitters. He famously surpassed Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record in 1974, ending his career with 755 home runs. Aaron holds multiple MLB records, such as the highest career runs batted in (2,297), extra base hits (1,477), and total bases (6,856). Additionally, he ranks third in all-time career hits (3,771) and fifth in runs scored (2,174). Aaron’s accomplishments include receiving the National League MVP award in 1957 and being a 25-time All-Star. Throughout his career, he was actively engaged in social and civil rights issues. Hank Aaron passed away in 2021 at the age of 86.
