Hillary Rodham Clinton is an accomplished American politician, diplomat, lawyer, and author. She made history as the first woman to secure a major political party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016. Clinton served as the 67th Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013, during which time she played a crucial role in approving the raid that captured Osama bin Laden. As First Lady, she was a strong advocate for healthcare reform, and as a Senator, she worked to provide health benefits to 9/11 first responders. Clinton has authored several books, including her memoirs Living History and What Happened, and has been honored with numerous awards, such as two Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word Album and induction into the National Women’s Hall of Fame.
