Hugh Grant is an English actor who gained international fame in his starring roles in ‘Notting Hill’ (1999), ‘Bridget Jones Diary’ (2001), and ‘About a Boy’ (2012). ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ (1994) gave his career a charismatic turn because prior to landing the role, he has already decided to quit acting. His successful performance won him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a leading role.
One of his daughters’ Chinese name is Xiao Xi which translates to ‘happy surprise.’
His piano teacher as a young boy was the mother of Andre Lloyd Webber, the ultra famous composer of the musical theater hits ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ (1986), ‘Evita’ (1996), ‘Jesus Child Superstar’ (1970), and so much more.
