Isobel, Lady Barnett, also known as Lady Isobel Barnett, was a prominent Scottish radio and television personality during the 1950s and 1960s. Born Isobel Morag Marshall on 30 June 1918, she gained fame as a panellist on the BBC quiz show What’s My Line? and made appearances on other popular television programs such as Call My Bluff and Juke Box Jury. A respected authority in cookery and etiquette, Barnett authored several books on these subjects. Despite being diagnosed with cancer in the 1960s, she continued to work and remained dedicated to her contributions to television and the arts until her death on 20 October 1980.
