Izzy Stradlin, a musician and songwriter, is best known for his role as the co-founder, rhythm guitarist, and backing vocalist of the hard rock and heavy metal band Guns N’ Roses. He contributed to the creation of many hit songs and played on their iconic albums, such as “Appetite for Destruction.” Stradlin left the band at the height of their fame in 1991 after recording four studio albums with them.
In addition to his work with Guns N’ Roses, Stradlin has released several solo albums and collaborated with artists like Slash and Duff McKagan. Some of his notable solo works include “117°,” “River,” and “Like a Dog.” As a member of Guns N’ Roses, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, highlighting his achievements in the music industry.
