J. Robert Oppenheimer, a distinguished American physicist, is widely recognized for his significant contributions to the creation of the atomic bomb during the Manhattan Project. As the director of the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, he also made substantial advancements in quantum field theory. His participation in the Trinity test, the first-ever atomic bomb test, and his recruitment and management of a team of eminent scientists are portrayed in the biographical drama film “Oppenheimer,” directed by Christopher Nolan. Additionally, Oppenheimer held teaching positions at the University of California, Berkeley, and the California Institute of Technology, was married to Katherine Puening, and was depicted in the biographical novel “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer.”
