Jack Charles Scanlon, born on August 6, 1998, in Canterbury, Kent, England, is a former English child actor. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Shmuel in the 2008 Holocaust film “The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.” In addition to this notable role, Scanlon appeared in the British miniseries “Runaway” and the drama series “Married Single Other.” He attended Sir Roger Manwood’s School and is currently pursuing a degree in commercial music at Bath Spa University.
