Dana James Hutton, commonly known as Jim Hutton, was a renowned American actor recognized for his work in both film and television. He rose to fame for his portrayal of Ellery Queen in the 1970s TV series named after the character and for his on-screen collaboration with Paula Prentiss in movies such as “Where the Boys Are.” Other significant projects in Hutton’s career include “Walk, Don’t Run,” “The Hallelujah Trail,” and “The Psychiatrist.” Besides his screen appearances, Hutton was also a praised stage actor, particularly for his performance in the play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Before his acting career, he served as a military policeman during the Korean War. Unfortunately, Hutton passed away in 2010 at the age of 60 due to lung cancer.
