John Schnatter, an American entrepreneur, is best known for founding the popular pizza restaurant chain, Papa John’s, in 1984. He started the business by selling his car to buy used restaurant equipment. As the CEO, Schnatter has been recognized as one of America’s highest-paid CEOs and received a National Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the University of Louisville. In addition to his business success, he is also involved in philanthropy, including donations to his alma mater, Ball State University.
