Josh Davis, an American record producer and DJ known as DJ Shadow, rose to prominence with his innovative debut album, “Endtroducing…..,” which transformed the use of sampling in music. He has since produced several acclaimed works, such as “The Mountain Will Fall” and “The Less You Know, the Better,” and collaborated with rapper Nas on “The Outsider.” Besides his musical accomplishments, Davis served as an A&R for James Lavelle’s Mo’ Wax label, signing distinguished artists like Dr. Octagon, Latyrx, and Blackalicious. He has earned multiple awards, including a Mercury Prize and two Source Awards. Notably, Davis is also a 5-time Olympic medalist and former captain of the USA Swimming team.
