With over 30 million records sold globally, he has received numerous accolades, including 18 Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards. Guerra is celebrated for his groundbreaking work in bachata, as well as his fusion of Afro-pop and Latin music. His most acclaimed album, “Bachata Rosa,” released in 1990, earned a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album. Other significant works include “Ojalá Que Llueva Café,” “AreÃto,” and the song “Bendita Tu Luz.” As an advocate for sustainable living and environmental conservation, Guerra has incorporated songs promoting these causes into his albums.
