Julia Whelan is an American actress, author, and singer-songwriter. She is best known for her roles in the films “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (2005), “The Wicker Man” (2006), and “Cloverfield” (2008), as well as the television series “Once and Again” (2001-2002), “The O.C.” (2003-2007), and “Grey’s Anatomy” (2009-2010).
In addition to her acting career, Whelan has also published two novels, “My Oxford Year” (2018) and “Thank You for Listening” (2022). She is also an accomplished equestrian and a strong advocate for animal rights.
Whelan is married to actor Graham McTavish and they have two children together.
