Gomez’s gymnastics career skyrocketed at the tender age of 12 when she clinched the junior all-around title at the 2008 U.S. Classic. This triumph propelled her to represent the United States at the Junior Pan American Championships, where she showcased her prowess by securing gold medals on both the balance beam and floor exercise.

In 2011, Gomez made her senior international debut at the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, leaving a lasting impression on gymnastics enthusiasts and experts alike.
