Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, made her debut in Action Comics #252 (1959) as a Kryptonian survivor. Originally sent to protect her younger cousin, she arrived on Earth after he had matured into Superman. Since then, she has become a prominent figure in DC Comics, starring in numerous comic book series, TV shows, and movies, including the popular TV series ‘Supergirl’ (2015-2021). As a superhero, she fights for justice alongside her cousin and other heroes in the DC Universe.
In recent years, Supergirl’s popularity has soared, thanks in part to the success of the TV series. The show has introduced new aspects to her character, such as her relationship with her adoptive sister, Alex Danvers, and her struggles with balancing her personal life with her superhero duties.
