Dorothy Jacqueline Keely, professionally known as Keely Smith, was an American jazz and popular music singer who rose to fame in the 1950s as part of a duo act with her then-husband Louis Prima. They produced classic hits such as “That Old Black Magic” and “Jump, Jive an’ Wail.” In the 1960s, Smith embarked on a successful solo career, with notable works including “I Wish You Love,” “Basin Street Blues,” and “Embraceable You.” She received a Grammy Award for her album “Keely Sings Sinatra.” Smith passed away on December 16, 2017.
