Ken, also known as Ken Masters, is a prominent character in the Street Fighter video game series, introduced in the original 1987 game. He is a skilled martial artist and a formidable fighter, specializing in the Shotokan style of karate. Ken is known for his signature move, the “Shoryuken,” a powerful uppercut that launches opponents into the air.

Throughout the Street Fighter series, Ken has participated in numerous World Warrior tournaments, often placing among the top fighters. He achieved his greatest triumph by winning the first World Warrior tournament, defeating the formidable Sagat in the final match. Ken has also faced and defeated powerful adversaries such as Akuma, a malevolent demon warrior, and M. Bison, the leader of the Shadaloo criminal organization.
