Kenneth Bron, also known as Kenny B, is a Surinamese reggae singer who gained popularity in the Netherlands. Born on November 1, 1961, in Paramaribo, Suriname, he initially started his career singing in English and Sranan before transitioning to Dutch. Kenny B is best known for his self-titled album, which topped the Dutch Album Chart, and his hit single “Parijs” that spent seven weeks at the top of the Dutch Top 40 chart. Some of his other notable works include “Als Je Gaat”, “Paramaribo-o-o”, and “Jij Bent de Liefde”. In 2015, Kenny B donated all the profits from “Parijs” to help build a school in Suriname.
