Kimya Dawson, an American singer-songwriter, rose to prominence as a co-founder of the indie group The Moldy Peaches, alongside Adam Green. Known for her quirky, raw, and emotionally direct musical style, Dawson has released numerous solo albums, such as “Remember That I Love You,” “Thunder Thighs,” and “My Cute Fiend Sweet Princess.” She has also contributed tracks to various films and TV shows, most notably the critically acclaimed soundtrack for the movie “Juno.” A passionate activist for social and environmental causes, Dawson has recently reunited with The Moldy Peaches, continuing to tour and produce new music.
