Klaus Meine, a German musician and songwriter, is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Scorpions. He has been the creative force behind popular hits such as “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Wind of Change,” and “Still Loving You.” In addition to his work with Scorpions, Meine has contributed to other projects, including the albums Acoustica and Unbreakable. His first name, Klaus, means ‘victorious people,’ while his surname, Meine, translates to ‘mine.’ In 1982, he served as a guest vocalist on the Michael Schenker Group album “Assault Attack,” a lesser-known aspect of his career. Throughout his career, Meine has received numerous awards and was ranked #22 on Hit Parader’s Top Heavy Metal Vocalists of All Time list in 2006.
