Kristoff St. John was a renowned American actor, most famous for his portrayal of Neil Winters on the popular soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” for which he won two Emmy Awards. He also had significant roles in other TV shows and movies, such as “Generations,” “A Different World,” “The Champ,” and the miniseries “Roots: The Next Generations,” where he played a young Alex Haley. St. John’s father, Christopher St. John, was also an actor and director. Besides acting, Kristoff was a skilled artist, holding an art exhibition in 2016 and donating part of the proceeds to charity organizations. He received the NAACP Image Award and Daytime Emmy Award during his career. St. John, who began acting as a child with a role in the Saturday-morning comedy “Big John, Little John” in 1976, passed away in 2019 at the age of 52.
