Les Shannon, an English soccer coach, managed eight clubs between 1966 and 1984. Primarily playing as a center forward with Burnley, he began his professional career with Liverpool in 1944. In addition to managing English clubs, he also led Greek and Norwegian soccer teams. From 1986 to 2001, Shannon worked with Kenilworth Road. Sadly, he passed away in 2007 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
