Linda Anne Chapman, a British author born in Liverpool in 1969, is renowned for her enchanting children’s book series. Developing a passion for reading and writing at a young age, she went on to study sociology at the University of Sheffield. After working as a primary school teacher, Chapman pursued a full-time writing career in 1999.
Her most notable works include the captivating “My Secret Unicorn” and “Not Quite a Mermaid” series, which have delighted young readers with their magical themes. Chapman has also written under the pen names Amber Castle and Alex Cliff, contributing to series such as “Unicorn Academy,” “Stardust,” “Spell Sisters,” and “Superpowers.” Moreover, she has collaborated with other authors, including Julie Sykes, Michelle Misra, Lee Weatherly, and Steve Cole.
