Law.” In addition to acting, Avery II contributed to the entertainment industry as a writer and producer.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Lloyd Avery Sr., an actor in the 1960s and 70s, Avery II began his acting career with his film debut in “Boyz n the Hood.” He continued to act in various films and television shows, including a memorable performance in “Doogie Howser, M.D.” and starring in the 2000 film “Lockdown.” He also worked on the screenplay for the 1997 film “Caught Up.”
