Loni Love, an American comedian, actress, and television host, gained fame as a co-host on the syndicated daytime talk show “The Real” from 2013 to 2022. Born on July 14, 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, Love earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Prairie View A&M University. Before transitioning to comedy, she spent a decade working as an engineer for IBM and other companies. Love has appeared in various TV shows and movies, such as “Chelsea Lately” and “Soul Plane,” and has received two Emmy Awards and an NAACP Image Award for her work on “The Real.” She also has a comedy special on Comedy Central called “America’s Sister.”
