Lori Singer is an American actress, musician, and cellist. She rose to fame in the 1980s for her roles in films such as “Footloose” and “The Falcon and the Snowman.” Singer has also appeared in numerous television shows, including “VR.5” and “The X-Files.”
In addition to her acting career, Singer is an accomplished cellist. She made her debut with the Oregon Symphony at the age of thirteen and has since performed with orchestras around the world. Singer has also released two albums of her own music.
Singer is also a philanthropist and has worked with various charities, including the American Red Cross and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). She is a practicing Buddhist, a vegetarian, and an animal rights activist.
