LuÃs Figo, a renowned Portuguese former footballer, played as a winger for Sporting CP, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. With 127 caps for Portugal’s national team, he is considered one of the best players of his generation. Figo gained fame as the first Portuguese player to win the Ballon d’Or in 2000, the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2001, and inclusion in Pelé’s FIFA 100 list in 2004.
