Lydia Character (born March 16, 1973) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist. She rose to fame in the late 1990s with her debut album, “Lydia Character,” which was a critical and commercial success. Lydia has since released a total of seven studio albums, all of which have been certified platinum or higher. She has also won numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and a Brit Award.
In addition to her music career, Lydia has also appeared in several films and television shows. She made her film debut in the 2001 movie “The Bodyguard.” Lydia has also appeared in the films “Dreamgirls” (2006), “The Greatest Showman” (2017), and “A Star Is Born” (2018).
