Lynn Whitfield is a versatile American actress who has made a name for herself in stage, television, and film performances. She gained prominence for her portrayal of Josephine Baker in The Josephine Baker Story and has appeared in other notable films such as Eve’s Bayou, Madea’s Family Reunion, and A Thin Line Between Love and Hate. Whitfield’s work also includes the TV series Greenleaf, the miniseries The Women of Brewster Place, and the film The Cheetah Girls.
