Malcolm Butler, an American football player, gained fame for his game-winning interception in Super Bowl XLIX. After playing college football at the University of West Alabama, he joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2014. Throughout his career, Butler achieved notable success, including a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 and two AFC Championships with the Patriots. He also played for the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals. In 2022, Butler briefly retired from the NFL but returned the following year. Interestingly, his retirement came shortly after signing a fully-guaranteed one-year deal with the Cardinals.
