Manuel Padilla Jr. (July 13, 1955 รขยย January 29, 2008) was a well-known American child actor during the 1960s. He gained recognition for his role as Jai in the Tarzan television series, which starred Ron Ely. In addition to the TV series, Padilla co-starred with Mike Henry in two mid-1960s Tarzan feature films. He frequently portrayed Mexican or Indian boys in TV westerns such as Rawhide, Bonanza, and Gunsmoke. Padilla also appeared in films like American Graffiti (1973) and Scarface (1983). He passed away in 2008 at the age of 52.
