Matthew Edward Harvey, nicknamed “The Dark Knight,” is a former American professional baseball pitcher who had a nine-season career in Major League Baseball (MLB). He gained prominence during his time with the New York Mets, where he debuted in 2012 and helped lead the team to the 2015 World Series. Harvey also played for the Cincinnati Reds, Los Angeles Angels, Kansas City Royals, and Baltimore Orioles.
